The customer

Drawing from a foundation in graphic design and five years of immersion in advertising agencies, our client boasts a rich portfolio of collaborations with renowned international brands, including the Olympic Committee and Philip Morris. Notably, they played a pivotal role in crafting the visual identity of the Olympic Rings alongside two other talented graphic designers. Transitioning to Logitech, our client ascended to the esteemed position of Channel Marketing and Brand Director EMEA, where they honed their strategic acumen and leadership skills.

In 2011, fueled by a passion for effective visual communication, our client founded PowerPro, pioneering Switzerland’s premier agency exclusively dedicated to PowerPoint presentations. Since its inception, PowerPro has been at the forefront of transforming ideas into compelling narratives, crafting thousands of impactful slides for diverse global audiences. Moreover, our client’s dedication to knowledge sharing has led to the organization of numerous training seminars, empowering individuals and teams to harness the full potential of their presentations.

The project

Over a span of 10 days, I spearheaded a project for the client, which involved creating a comprehensive specification document for the website redesign. Subsequently, I adapted the client’s design mockup onto a WordPress platform, optimizing its performance and implementing effective SEO strategies to enhance its visibility.

 

Project Details:

  1. Creation of Specification Document:

    • Developed a detailed and comprehensive specification document outlining the requirements and objectives for the website redesign project.
  2. Adaptation of Design Mockup to WordPress:

    • Translated the client’s design mockup into a functional WordPress website, ensuring seamless integration of visual elements and user interface components.
  3. Optimization of WordPress Site:

    • Conducted thorough optimization of the WordPress site to enhance its speed, performance, and overall user experience.
    • Implemented best practices for code optimization, image compression, and caching mechanisms to minimize loading times.
  4. Website SEO:

    • Implemented effective search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to improve the website’s visibility and organic search rankings.
    • Conducted keyword research and optimized on-page elements such as meta tags, headings, and content structure.
    • Submitted the website to major search engines and directories to facilitate indexing and improve discoverability.

This project was completed within a timeframe of 10 days, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results that met the client’s expectations and objectives.
